The season (long term). Every session and heat uses the rules of the global season we're building toward, funded by sponsors and built on local heats. Format and dates are not set. Organisations can help shape it through the Founding Circle.

How a session works

What happens in a session

Human judgement, AI and robotics on one real problem. People set the direction; the AI and the robot extend what the team can do.

  1. Form a mixed team

    People with different skills, everyday AI tools, and a simulated or kit robot task.

  2. Solve one real problem

    One track problem, chosen with the published track criteria. In a heat, the problem is yours.

  3. Score and debrief

    The solution is scored on the published rubric, and your team gets a written debrief on how it collaborated.

Sessions use the solution half of the score only.

Fair by design

Rules you can read before you play

The rules are a public draft, open to feedback before the first season.

  • Evidence before claims. Outcomes are rated on evidence levels from claimed to adopted, and overclaiming is penalised.
  • No bought engagement. Paid or fake engagement disqualifies a team.
  • Partners never buy scores. Partners have no scoring vote; anyone linked to a partner must disclose it.

Solution efficacy only. The social-media half does not apply indoors.
Local heats and the season
50% solution efficacy: measured outcome, evidence quality, collaboration, scalability and safety. 50% social-media impact: genuine engagement, adjusted for team size and region.
Who judges
Planned: conflict-checked panels under the published jury criteria.
