FAQ

Short, honest answers. Where something is still undecided, we say so — and point to the draft rules or partners page.

What is this competition?

Humanity Games is a global competition where teams combine human judgement, AI and robotics to work toward measurable results on real-world challenges — and share the journey in public. Scoring is planned as 50% solution efficacy and 50% social media impact. It is not a game jam, pitch contest, or entertainment title.

Is it free to enter?

For season one, no entry fee is planned. Final confirmation will come when registration opens. Until then, this remains a draft statement, not a published fee schedule.

Can I enter alone?

Solo entry is not the model. The draft rules propose teams of 2–8 human members (decision D2 — still to be finalised). See the draft rules for the current wording.

What do winners get?

Prizes and the World Finals format are not published yet (see open decision D12 in the draft rules). Nothing on this site is a promise of prize amounts, travel funding, or investment. Details will be announced before registration opens.

How do partner contributions work?

Founding Circle, Challenge Owners, Technology Circle, and softer expert/host/community roles help launch season one. Partners may nominate experts for panels (subject to jury criteria) and give advisory input on tracks and metrics — organisers approve (including metrics under D20). Partners do not buy scores or jury seats; partner representatives stay a minority on their own track’s panel. More on the partners page.

What happens to my early-access email or journey content?

Early access on this website is mailto only: the form opens your own email app; nothing is stored by the site until you press send. How we handle messages you send us is described in Privacy. Public journey logs during a season will follow the published rules once registration opens.

Is this related to the PlayStation game or other “Humanity” titles?

No. This is a different project: a real-world challenge competition for human–AI–robot teams, organised by Humanity Solutions. It is not the entertainment game titled Humanity, nor any similarly named game or media franchise.
